About The Position

Anchor Fabrication, LLC, a precision metal fabrication company located in LaVergne, Tennessee is seeking experienced Punch Operators for the 1st shift. This role involves operating punch machines to produce quality parts, conducting preventative maintenance, reading blueprints, performing inspections, and troubleshooting minor issues. The position may require overtime or shift changes based on company needs. Anchor Fabrication is an equal opportunity employer.

Requirements

Mechanically adept.
Blueprint reading
Good math skills
Ability to commute/relocate to La Vergne, TN 37086: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)

Nice To Haves

Experience in the metal fabrication industries is a plus.
Punch Operation experience preferred
G/D & T Knowledge preferred but not required
Technical School Experience a plus

Responsibilities

Set up and operate all Punch operations to produce quality parts.
Conducts preventative maintenance as scheduled.
Read blueprints and conduct first/last piece inspection.
Troubleshoot and repair minor issues as needed.
Work with Maintenance on major issues.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
May be required to work overtime or different shift than originally assigned based on company needs.
Other duties as assigned.
