About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Pumps/Motors Repair Technician to join our team. This role involves the maintenance and repair of electric motors, pumps, and blowers. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, diagnostic abilities, and experience in machining and fabrication. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality repairs, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to a safe and organized work environment. Additionally, this position offers the opportunity to mentor other technicians.

Requirements

High school diploma/GED
Minimum 5-years experienced in HVAC and pumps
Strong diagnostics abilities and mechanical aptitude
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Ability to machine and fabricate parts
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and able to work in a team environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Organization

Responsibilities

Disassemble, clean, repair and rebuild electric motors, pumps and blowers.
Replace worn or damaged parts such as mechanical seals, bearings, impellers and motors.
Make shafts with keys.
Diagnose and repair electric motors, pumps and blowers.
Machine and fabricate parts required for assigned repair tasks.
Utilize tools required to perform repairs and rebuild of electric motors, pumps and blowers.
Maintain high quality on all assigned repair jobs.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and service performed.
Adhere to the rules, regulations and guidelines of the shop.
Keep the workplace safe, clean, and tidy, and perform daily inspections of the shop.
Work as mentor/trainer for other repair shop technicians.
