Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 2 years of experience maintaining pumps, motors, or industrial mechanical equipment
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Ability to work outdoors and in various environmental conditions

Nice To Haves

Experience in water, wastewater, utilities, industrial, or municipal environments
Knowledge of lift stations, booster stations, and treatment plant equipment
Experience with motor controls, VFDs, and electrical troubleshooting
Technical school training or mechanical maintenance certification

Responsibilities

Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain pumps, motors, valves, and related equipment
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on water booster stations, wastewater lift stations, and treatment facility equipment
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using specialized testing and diagnostic tools
Disassemble, rebuild, install, and align pumps and rotating equipment
Replace bearings, seals, couplings, and other mechanical components
Support the installation and startup of new pumps, motors, controls, and system upgrades
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, equipment manuals, and technical drawings
Complete work orders, maintenance records, and inspection reports accurately
Respond to emergency repairs and equipment breakdowns as needed
Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space entry, and PPE requirements
