About The Position

This is a full-time position where the primary focus is to provide high-quality pump service at all times. Approaching customers to offer service is the top priority, ensuring customers are never left waiting at unattended pumps or propane facilities. The role involves filling vehicles with fuel, storing and maintaining products, and managing displays. Additionally, the position requires providing information, assistance, and service to other customers in a friendly and courteous manner. Cross-training in other departments, maintaining dress code standards, performing general housekeeping and maintenance, and participating in training sessions and meetings are also key aspects of the role. The Pump Attendant is also responsible for enforcing policies and procedures related to security, fire prevention, safety, and accident management as directed by the Gas Bar Manager.

Responsibilities

Provide quality pump service at all times.
Approach customers for the purpose of providing customer service as the first priority.
Ensure customers are never forced to wait at unattended pumps/propane facilities.
Perform all aspects of filling appropriate fuel into vehicles.
Store and maintain product.
Maintain displays.
Provide information, assistance, and service to other customers as required.
Greet customers in a friendly, courteous manner.
Cross train in other departments as required.
Maintain standards of dress code at all times.
Perform general housekeeping and maintenance duties.
Attend and participate in training sessions and department meetings as directed by the Gas Bar Manager.
Enforce policy and procedure as directed by the Gas Bar Manager in areas of security, fire prevention, safety, and accidents.
