Part-time Pump Attendant
About The Position
New Horizon Co-op is hiring a Part-Time Pump Attendant at our Royal Oaks location in Grande Prairie, Alberta. This position will work mostly evenings and weekends for approximately 14-24 hours per week. Co-op does business differently. As a co-operative, we believe in working together to serve Western Canadians, delivering profits back to our communities and investing in sustainable growth. Our team provides a range of products and services to support our member-owners. Through the work that we do, we help to build, fuel, feed and grow Western Canadian communities together.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Enthusiastic approach to work
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Some heavy lifting (up to 50lbs) may be required
- Available to work on a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Able to work outside in all weather conditions
Nice To Haves
- Previous Gas Bar, cash handling or customer service experience is preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer experience
- Operate gas pumps, clean windshields, and check oil levels
- Process fuel and merchandise payments through the cash register
- Receive, unpack and display merchandise as necessary
- Perform additional duties as required including, but not limited to, routine price changes, housekeeping and compliance with health and safety regulations
