About The Position
Harmac Pacific Pulp is seeking energetic, skilled, and motivated individuals to join their team. This entry-level position involves supporting operations by cleaning and maintaining all areas of production. New employees receive training for entry-level jobs in production and provide relief for the mill, with opportunities for significant career progression. Shifts can vary, and overtime may be required. This role offers a chance to choose a career path aligned with abilities and long-term goals, with an attractive compensation package under the Labour Agreement with PPWC Local 8.
Requirements
- Possess a High School Diploma.
- Possess a valid Driver’s License.
- Safety Conscious & Focused.
- Able to work individually & as part of a team.
- Adaptable/Flexible/Willing to learn.
- Able to work varying shifts and days.
- Physically fit.
- Demonstrate the values of safety, teamwork, and accountability and work well with others.
- Attention to detail, especially ensuring specific steps are followed to complete a task and have high standards towards quality control.

- Valid Advanced First Aid Certificate
Responsibilities
- Shoveling chips and sawdust
- Sweeping
- Lifting/carrying various wood and metal debris
- Grate cleaning
- Air lancing and cleaning conveyor belts
- Cleaning under all reclaim pit platforms
- Operating forklift and other mobile equipment
- Performing other duties, as required
