About The Position

Bassett Healthcare Network, in central New York, is seeking a BC/BE physician to join its existing group of Pulmonologists/Sleep Physicians. This role entails inpatient pulmonary consultations, outpatient clinic, pulmonary procedures and interpretation of sleep studies. The physician will also be responsible for resident and medical student supervision and teaching, and participate in weekly multidisciplinary clinic-radiologic conferences. The position involves performing procedures such as Bronchoscopy with EBUS and Point of care Ultrasound. The physician will work within an AASM certified Sleep Center and collaborate with various departments for advanced therapies and procedures. This is an opportunity to practice within Bassett Healthcare Network, an integrated system delivering care across an 8-county region and a progressive academic health system and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons.

Requirements

• MD, DO or MBBS
• BC/BE
• Completion of an accredited USA Pulmonology residency program
• NYS Licensure (or eligibilty to obtain)
• BLS Certification Required
• DEA Required

Responsibilities

• Inpatient pulmonary consultations
