About The Position

This opportunity puts you at the forefront of an exciting growth initiative: partnering with skilled CT Surgeons to build a dedicated lung nodule and thoracic surgery program. You'll practice in a collaborative, patient-focused environment backed by a strong referral base and access to state-of-the-art facilities. If you're ready to make a lasting clinical and programmatic impact, Tucson is where that work begins. This is a Pulmonology opportunity with a well-established, growing multispecialty group. It is an elective-based outpatient program with no unplanned, urgent call load. Clinic hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with weekend practice call rotation. The practice mix is 60% clinic / 40% OR and Endoscopy. This is a collaborative role alongside CT Surgeons to develop a lung nodule and thoracic surgery program. You will have access to Carondelet's full hospital network, including St. Joseph's Hospital and St. Mary's Hospital.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree
  • Board certified or board eligible in Pulmonary Medicine
  • Eligible for Arizona medical licensure
  • Strong clinical and communication skills
  • Commitment to high-quality, compassionate patient care

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced bronchoscopy training preferred
  • Robotic training with ION a plus
