Requirements

Active and unrestricted New York State medical license, or eligibility to obtain one
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary Medicine Critical Care
Valid DEA license
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Less than one year of experience considered

Responsibilities

Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with pulmonary and critical care conditions
Provide inpatient and outpatient pulmonary medicine services
Deliver consultation and ongoing care for conditions including asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, and related disorders
Perform and interpret pulmonary function testing and other diagnostic procedures
Participate in multidisciplinary ICU rounds
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Participate in continuing medical education and professional development activities
