About The Position

Ochsner Rush Health, based in Meridian, MS, is looking for a Board Eligible/Board Certified Pulmonologist/Critical Care physician to help grow their program. The health system has an extensive network of 30 primary care clinics and 5 critical access hospitals throughout East Central Mississippi and West Alabama, serving as a large referral base. The position offers a mix of Pulmonary and Critical Care, with opportunities for procedures like EBUS and more to come. The role includes working with an Adult Hospitalist Program, utilizing the EPIC EHR system, and offers teaching opportunities with the local family medicine residency program. The hospital sponsors J1 waivers.

Requirements

• BE/BC Pulmonologist/Critical Care physician
• Must be eligible to work in the US
• Must have a valid medical license

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Telemedicine and EBUS.
• Interest in performing Navigational Bronchoscopy.

Responsibilities

• Provide a mix of Pulmonary and Critical Care services.
• Perform procedures such as EBUS, with Navigational Bronchoscopy becoming available.
• Alternate coverage between Pulmonology outpatient clinic and ICU.
• Participate in teaching opportunities for the local family medicine residency program.
