About The Position

Intermountain Health is seeking a Pulmonary Critical Care physician to join a team of experienced Pulmonary and Critical Care Physicians to work at the state-of-the-art facility, Utah Valley Hospital, a 395-bed level II Trauma center and Certified Stroke Center. You can anticipate working in both the Outpatient Pulmonary Clinic and ICU as a member of multi-disciplinary teams supporting advanced therapies for complex critically ill patients. The Pulmonary and Critical Care team is made up of 10 physicians and 7 APPs. In this role you can anticipate: Practicing at Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, Utah; with option to do pulmonary clinic hours at American Fork Hospital in American Fork, Utah Mix of pulmonary clinic, pulmonary consults, procedures, and ICU shifts; 1,825 hours annually 36-bed adult mixed medical/surgical ICU, caring for general surgery, trauma (Level II ASC Trauma Hospital Accreditation), cardiovascular surgery, neurosurgery, and medical patients 24/7 in-house ICU coverage, with a mix of day, and night shifts Teaching opportunities throughout the year with family medicine residents, medical students, and APPs New Ion robot and EBUS capable This position includes a sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, training stipend, and student loan repayment for those who qualify.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
  • Board certification or eligibility in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine
  • Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process

Responsibilities
