About The Position

Hartford HealthCare Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pulmonary & Critical Care physician to join the team at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington, Connecticut. This full-time position combines inpatient Critical Care and outpatient Pulmonary Medicine in a community hospital setting, with support from a large integrated health system. The clinical scope includes inpatient Critical Care coverage in a supported ICU, inpatient pulmonary consultations, and outpatient pulmonary clinic in a modern nearby facility. The role offers opportunities to build continuity of care across inpatient and outpatient settings, contribute to the growth of local Pulmonary & Critical Care services, mentor staff, and participate optionally in teaching and clinical research. The position is salaried. Compensation is described as highly competitive; the hiring range is a good-faith estimate, with actual pay based on qualifications, location, internal equity, and other factors. Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine.
Eligible for Connecticut medical licensure.

Responsibilities

Provide inpatient Critical Care coverage in the ICU.
Conduct inpatient pulmonary consultations.
Provide outpatient care in a pulmonary clinic.
