About The Position

Red River Brick, a leading brand of the General Shale network in the Southwest U.S., is seeking a Pugmill Machine Operator to support our Mineral Wells, TX, location. This role is ideal for a reliable, safety-focused individual who can ensure the efficient operation of the Mill Room's pugmill and brick machine while maintaining product quality and meeting production targets. The Pugmill Machine Operator is responsible for the operational effectiveness of the Mill Room equipment, including the pugmill and brick machine. This role involves configuring tooling, monitoring production, performing quality checks, and collaborating with maintenance and production personnel to ensure efficient plant operations.

Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail for visual inspections.
• Ability to read, write, and understand work instructions and safety guidelines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

• Manufacturing or industrial equipment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Mill Room's pugmill and brick machine.
• Configure product tooling and oversee pugmill changeovers.
• Perform routine product quality checks throughout the shift.
• Collaborate with coworkers and maintenance personnel during downtime or troubleshooting events.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
