About The Position

The Energy & Earth Journals team is seeking a Journal (Associate) Publisher to manage a portfolio of earth science journals and lead select initiatives. This role focuses on delivering world-class content that supports UN sustainable development goals and a net zero future. The position is full-time and can be based in a key publishing office in the US or Europe, with hybrid working arrangements supported.

Requirements

Fluent in English (verbal and written communication).
Minimum education to bachelor's degree level.
Work experience of 2-3 years in a publishing role or in academic research is desirable.
The role level offered will depend on experience.

Responsibilities

Balance maintaining the superior performance of a portfolio of titles with supporting goals around accelerated growth of quality content.
Carefully manage new editor appointments and ensure journals have diverse and dynamic editorial structures.
Engage with customers through relationship management and regular communication, sharing customer insights to inform product and service development.
Improve the visibility of journal brands and company tools/services through outreach and competitive analysis.
Champion select initiatives within the team, ensuring follow-up on actions and recommendations, and driving team engagement and delivery.
Work closely with colleagues to deliver on collaborative projects and goals.
