Public Works Operator
About The Position
The City of Sharonville is seeking a dependable and motivated professional to serve as a Public Works Operator. This full-time position supports the daily operations of the Public Works Department by operating equipment and performing maintenance, repair, and construction activities that keep the City's streets, public facilities, parks, and infrastructure safe and well maintained. The Public Works Operator performs a variety of duties including equipment operation, facility maintenance, roadway and right-of-way repairs, traffic control, seasonal maintenance, and event support. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Requirements
- Be at least eighteen (18) years of age as of the application deadline.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Possess a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or have the ability to obtain one within the first six (6) months of employment.
- Maintain a valid Class B CDL throughout employment.
- Maintain a driving record that complies with the requirements of the City of Sharonville's insurance carrier.
