About The Position

Applications are being accepted for the position of full-time public works manager. This is a salaried position working 40 hours per week. The salary ranges from $78,901 up to $90,948, and includes a comprehensive benefits package. The town reserves the right to consider other qualifications, including but not limited to experience and employment history, that are relevant to obtaining the most qualified applicant. The position will remain open until filled.

Requirements

Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in public works, municipal operations, infrastructure management, construction management, or a closely related field.
Valid driver's license required.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in public administration, civil engineering, construction manager, public works administration, business administration, or a closely related field is preferred.
A combination of education, training, and progressively responsible municipal public works experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Supervisory experience strongly preferred.
Municipal experience strongly preferred.
Commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred.
FEMA Incident Command certification preferred.
APWA Public Works certification desirable.
Ability to obtain certifications required by the Town or applicable law.
