This position leads and manages the assigned operational functional areas within the department, as well as performs high-level administrative, financial, reporting, and research support for the department. The position assists the department head in strategic planning and oversight of key performance areas of the entire department. This position leads the department's accreditation effort and serves as the departmental liaison to other city departments. This role will also work directly with and support department managers in developing and managing the annual budget, completing regulatory requirements, providing financial analysis, and preparing statistical and other reports.
