About The Position

Oversees crews performing work in conjunction with the City of Bloomington Public Works Department on their managed properties, or other locations as requested by staff. Creates a supportive employment program, conducts interviews, background checks, and transportation for crews. Addresses behavioral issues on site.

Requirements

Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods.
Associate's degree required. Two years of experience or two years of college coursework in related field may be substituted for degree requirement.
Two years professional experience working directly with youth and families in a child welfare, school, childcare, criminal justice behavioral health or related setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Creates a supportive employment program in partnership with Centerstone Brighten Bloomington program.
Responsible for all aspects of staffing including conducting interviews and performing background checks.
Creates schedule, conducts monthly staff meetings, and interfaces with city officials.
Consults with Public Works Department on specific needs, work planning, and work tracking.
Provides all employees with the scope of work outlined, including the names and contact information for crew supervisors, and communicates with city personnel if unable to meet the requested needs.
Transports and supervises crew; addresses behavioral issues that come up at sites.
Completes maintenance log weekly per site, including before and after photos.
