About The Position

The Grandview Lake Placid, managed by Essex Hotel Management, is currently seeking a DRIVEN Public Space Attendant. As a Public Space Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that our public spaces are clean, safe, and welcoming for all visitors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping work preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public spaces, including restrooms, lobbies, and outdoor areas
• Ensure that all areas are free of debris, trash, and other hazards
• Monitor public spaces for safety concerns and report any issues to management
• Provide excellent customer service to visitors and guests
• Assist with set-up and breakdown of events and activities in public spaces
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
