About The Position

Peregrine is seeking a Public Sector Compliance Manager to oversee and manage the company's public sector compliance functions as it expands within the U.S. market. This role is crucial for ensuring Peregrine meets its obligations as a government contractor. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented operator with a strong understanding of practical compliance program management. This position requires exceptional organizational discipline, project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various internal teams, including Legal, People Operations, Finance, Contracts, and GRC. The manager will be responsible for building and maintaining the systems, processes, and relationships necessary for compliance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in public sector compliance, contract administration, or a closely related field.
  • Deep working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DFARS, including representations and certifications, mandatory disclosure rules, and clause flow-down requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with SAM.gov registration and maintenance, CAGE codes, and entity validation processes.
  • Experience managing facility clearances (FCL) and/or personnel security clearances in a government contractor environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and operate compliance tracking systems.
  • Comfort owning a compliance calendar, managing obligation logs, and driving cross-functional accountability.
  • Experience administering ethics and compliance programs, including hotline intake, training programs, and COI processes.
  • Excellent project management skills with a high degree of ownership.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and build trusted relationships across Legal, People Ops, Finance, GRC, and Contracts.

  • Familiarity with DCSA/DSS processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own the public sector compliance program, including audits, FAR representations and certifications, SAM.gov registrations, and tracking contract-level obligations.
  • Identify compliance gaps and collaborate with Legal and Contracts teams on remediation and new contract onboarding.
  • Manage the end-to-end compliance training program, ensuring delivery and auditable recordkeeping.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with DCSA for establishing and maintaining the company's facility clearance (FCL).
  • Manage the entire personnel clearance lifecycle, including investigations, determinations, reinvestigations, and records, in partnership with People Ops.
  • Administer the ethics hotline, track cases, and provide reporting to Legal and leadership.
  • Oversee the conflict of interest disclosure process and political contribution logging according to FAR ethics requirements.
  • Support the upkeep of the Code of Business Ethics and Conduct.
  • Lead pre-award due diligence for subcontractors and vendors, including debarment/exclusion checks.
  • Maintain vendor compliance records and collaborate with Procurement on FAR/DFARS clause flow-downs.
