About The Position

At North Vista Hospital, Public Safety Officers provide security services to support a safe workplace for employees and a safe environment of care for patients, visitors, and staff. The role includes electronic surveillance and systematic manual security rounds, coordinating facility responses to potential problems, and enforcing policies and procedures equitably. Officers follow established guidelines and monitoring techniques, contribute to a multidisciplinary approach to security and safety through work with the Environment of Care committee, and participate in employee awareness and education. Driving may be required for company business.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• State driver's license upon hire.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in healthcare security or a related field is preferred.
• Current DMV H6 report or Driving History Report may be required by the facility.
• State Guard Certification Registration Card may be required by the facility.

Responsibilities
