About The Position

The Public Safety Officer provides security services at Garden City Hospital, including electronic surveillance and systematic manual security rounds. The role coordinates the facility’s response to potential problems involving patients, employees, and visitors, and helps maintain a safe workplace and environment of care through policy enforcement and ongoing monitoring. The officer works with the Environment of Care committee on security and safety, participates in employee awareness and education, and drives as needed for company business.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• State Guard Certification Registration Card, if applicable under state requirements.
• State driver’s license upon hire, as required by the facility.
• Current DMV H6 report or driving history report, as required by the facility.

Responsibilities
