About The Position

As a Public Safety Officer at Main Line Health Hospital, you will be an integral member of our organization, ensuring the safety of our patients, staff, and community. You will provide peace of mind by monitoring situations on and off campus to maintain a secure environment. This role requires utilizing strong people skills and professional judgment to respond effectively to both emergency situations and sensitive patient matters. Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record for the last 3 years.
  • Must be certified or eligible for Commonwealth of Pennsylvania State Lethal Weapons Training Certification (Act 235).
  • Must complete Managing of Aggressive Behavior or MOAB parts 1, 2 & 3 within 4 months of employment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to think independently yet listen to and work with a team.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information and handle confidential matters.
  • Critical thinking skills and ability to handle and resolve recurring problems.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a healthcare setting or security/customer service-related field preferred.
