Public Safety Officer
About The Position
As a Public Safety Officer at Paoli Hospital, you will be an integral member of the organization, providing peace of mind to patients, staff, and the community by ensuring a safe environment. You will monitor situations on and off campus, respond appropriately to emergency situations and delicate patient matters, utilizing strong people skills and professional judgment. Requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to think independently yet listen to and work with a team.
- Ability to maintain confidential information and handle confidential matters.
- Critical thinking skills and ability to handle and resolve recurring problems.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record for the last 10 years.
- Must be certified or eligible for Commonwealth of Pennsylvania State Lethal Weapons Training Certification (Act 235).
- Must complete Managing of Aggressive Behavior or MOAB parts 1, 2 & 3 within 4 months of employment.
