About The Position

Main Line Health is seeking a Public Safety Officer at Paoli Hospital. This role is integral to ensuring the safety of patients, staff, and the community by monitoring situations on and off campus. The officer will provide peace of mind by maintaining a safe environment and using strong people skills and professional judgment to respond to both emergency situations and delicate patient matters. Requirements

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to think independently yet listen to and work with a team
Ability to maintain confidential information and handle confidential matters
Critical thinking skills and ability to handle and resolve recurring problems
High school diploma required
Valid drivers license and good driving record for the last 10 years
Must be certified or eligible for Commonwealth of Pennsylvania State Lethal Weapons Training Certification (Act 235)
Must complete Managing of Aggressive Behavior or MOAB parts 1, 2 & 3 within 4 months of employment

Nice To Haves

Experience in a healthcare setting or security/customer service-related field preferred
