About The Position

Join Southcoast Health, a not-for-profit, charitable, health system with multiple hospitals, clinics and facilities throughout Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. We are searching for a talented Public Safety Mont-Front Desk to operate as the first point of contact and source of information for patients and guests, ensuring authorized access and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires independent thinking and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) de-escalation training required within 120 days of hire.
Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

Nice To Haves

Prior security, customer service, or administrative experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Operate as the first point of contact and source of information for patients and guests.
Ensure all who enter are authorized or have legitimate business on the property.
Employ exceptional customer service skills to welcome all visitors.
Provide directions.
Request assistance for visitors needing special assistance.
Think independently and use problem-solving skills in the absence of direct supervision.
