About The Position

Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Public Relations/Marketing Coordinator who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, communications, journalism or a related field.
Two years of experience in marketing, public relations, or communications preferred.
Healthcare experience is a plus but not required.
Strong writing skills preferred
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills preferred
Strong project management skill preferred
Experience using social media and email platforms preferred
Ability to attend events, including weekends and evenings preferred
Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment preferred
Familiar with Microsoft suite of software, other database systems, and statistical packages preferred
Must be a creative, enthusiastic, and strategic thinker preferred

Responsibilities

Write public relations, marketing and patient education materials including newsletters, emails, blog posts, social media posts, press releases, brochures, website copy and signage.
Help plan community, hospital and health system events. Provides day-of event support.
Monitor inventory of printed marketing materials and promotional items and assist leaders and caregivers with reordering. Cultivate strong relationships with vendors.
Guide materials from writing to design using project management software system.
Contribute to systemwide marketing, PR and communications campaigns, and provides creative input on their direction.
Organize photo and video shoots at hospitals and outside locations.
