What you will be doing: The Section of Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (CDPHP) is looking for a collaborative professional who enjoys building connections and bringing people together to improve health outcomes and reduce chronic disease disparities across Alaska. Under the direction of chronic disease program managers, you will help develop and strengthen community partnerships through coalition work, creating opportunities for partners to share ideas, work together, and support meaningful community health improvements. You will coordinate and facilitate quarterly and annual meetings for work groups, committees, and leadership; recruit and engage new coalition members; and help keep coalition partners connected through effective communication. You will also document coalition activities and membership and prepare reports that share the progress and accomplishments of this collaborative work.
