This position performs a variety of confidential office duties requiring special terminology and considerable exercise of independent judgment. The ideal candidate for the Public Health Office Technician III role is a dependable, client‑focused professional who excels in a busy clinical setting and takes pride in supporting essential community health services. They maintain a calm, welcoming, and respectful presence while assisting clients from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. This candidate is detail‑oriented, highly organized, and skilled at managing front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, checking clients in and out, verifying eligibility, processing forms, updating records, and responding to questions with clarity and compassion. Because this role supports multiple Public Health programs, the ideal candidate is eager to learn and develop a working understanding of all services offered by the department. This includes Family Planning, STI Services, Immunizations, Tuberculosis (TB) Program, Women’s Wellness Connection, WISEWOMAN, Nurse-Family Partnership, HCP (Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs), and other community health and education programs. They demonstrate the ability to correctly route clients, provide accurate program information, and collaborate effectively with clinical and program staff. This position requires working two days per week at the Fort Lupton clinic and three days per week at the Greeley clinic. The ideal candidate is flexible, reliable, and comfortable adapting to two work environments while maintaining consistent, high‑quality customer service. They understand the importance of confidentiality, especially when handling sensitive health information, and they approach their work with professionalism, empathy, and a strong commitment to supporting the health and well‑being of the community.
