About The Position

The National Nurse-Led Care Consortium (NNCC) is seeking a Public Health Project Coordinator to manage day-to-day activities for one or more public health projects, potentially funded by grants and private corporations. This role involves coordinating project planning and execution, working with stakeholders, clients, and home visiting staff, and providing data entry for tracking deliverables and performance measures. The position will primarily support the Family Advocacy and Integrated Resources (FAIR) project, which connects families served by home visiting programs to civil legal services and funds for concrete needs. The coordinator will assist with complex case navigation and ensure timely assistance to families with urgent needs, contributing to the scaling of access to Family Support Funds and legal services while ensuring proper stewardship of resources. The portfolio of projects may change as projects evolve or new funding opportunities arise. This position is located in Philadelphia, PA.

Requirements

2 years of experience in public health, project coordination, or related area required

Responsibilities

Coordinate administrative, programmatic, and grant management activities of public health projects.
Act as a liaison with funding agencies, project partners, and other critical stakeholders.
Work with the supervisor to meet all reporting requirements.
Adhere to program policies and procedures.
Work with the supervisor to create and manage service provider contracts to meet contractual deliverables.
Provide support for invoicing and financial accounting processes in coordination with the Director of Nurse Advocacy and Resources.
Work collaboratively with program staff.
Supervise interns as needed.
Provide support for grant applications and side projects as needed.
Ensure program quality.
Support the FAIR Project Manager and Director of Nurse Advocacy and Resources with execution of project deliverables, including ongoing updates, meeting logistics, complex case navigation, and stakeholder relationships.
Support the Project Manager and Director of Nurse Advocacy and Resources in content development and delivery of training activities related to the FAIR project.
Prepare agendas for recurring NNCC project team meetings. Draft and disseminate agendas, take meeting notes, and share notes with the team post-meeting.
Coordinate with members of Public Health Management Corporation (PHMC)’s finance teams to regularly review and guide updates to program operations and best practices.
Facilitate contracts management and invoice submission and tracking via PHMC’s Document Management System (DMS).
Support additional community education events as needed, including development and dissemination of educational materials.
Meet with the NNCC project team weekly for program status updates.
Track milestones and due dates for project deliverables.
Support preparation of regular reports for the funder.
Develop and implement trauma-informed FAIR project workflows with accuracy while proactively engaging in continuous quality improvement.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to efficiently operate FAIR according to funder requirements.
Actively engage in specialized training related to home visiting, early childhood learning, social supports, public health, legal aid, and related topics critical to effective resource integration.
