About The Position

The Department of Public Health (DPH), Fiscal and Administrative Section, is seeking a highly motivated Public Health Program Manager to lead, coordinate, and oversee all fiscal operations within the department. In this role, you will manage the department’s budget, direct Future of Public Health initiatives, guide program planning and development, administer grants and external contracts, and prepare, justify, and monitor program budgets. Additional responsibilities include analyzing data to assess program needs and objectives, as well as developing procedures and protocols to support effective and efficient program services. Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Public/Business/Health Administration, Finance, Accounting or a closely related field of study.
  • Three (3) years of full-time equivalent, professional administrative experience in a Public Health program, community health organization, or closely related agency.
  • Two (2) years of full-scope supervision that involved hiring, performance evaluations, and discipline up to and including termination.
  • Supervisory experience must be gained through a formal, regular supervisory assignment.
  • Ability to present legal right to work in the United States at the time of employment.
