About The Position
Provides public health inspection services, monitoring, evaluation, consultation, and education in an assigned area, as well as special projects. The role involves providing coverage for other environmental health team members in their absence and collaborating with local governments and other partner agencies on environmental health-related issues. Preference will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health (BSEH)
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Certificate in Public Health Inspection (Canada), CPHI(C)
- Interpersonal skills

- Organizational skills
- Problem solving skills
- Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to prioritize work
- Ability to travel when required
