About The Position

The Department of Public Health (DPH) is recruiting for Public Health Dietitians who plan, develop, implement, and evaluate community nutrition programs for targeted populations. Immediate vacancies exist within the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program. The department of Public Health works in partnership to promote and improve health, wellness, safety and quality of life in San Bernardino County. To achieve this goal, Public Health places a high value on strong working alliances with local community groups representing the diverse populations who live in all areas of our large County.

Requirements

• Must possess and maintain current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration as a Registered Dietitian.

Nice To Haves

• Applicants fluent in American Sign Language, Arabic, Korean, Mandarin, Spanish and/or Vietnamese are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Candidates fluent in Spanish with experience in an clinical/outpatient setting are highly desirable.

• Up to $2,000 in hiring bonus
