About The Position

The Public Funds Account Administrator is responsible for the support & maintenance of the TRB public funds portfolio of accounts. Responsible for opening, closing, and performing maintenance on all public fund accounts. Answer customer questions and resolve related account problems or issues. Work involves a high level of interaction with governmental entities and requires the ability to communicate effectively with prospective and current public fund customers. In addition, this position also supports the Private Placement Advisor and performs routine administrative and customer service tasks in support of the advisor while managing existing loan relationships and supporting the lenders with new loan opportunities. The Administrator is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely servicing and related customer support activities for the Bank's loan portfolio during the pre-approval underwriting, pre-closing, closing and post-closing stages.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Two years of banking experience in new accounts or lending.
  • Basic keyboarding, typing 40-50 wpm, and office equipment skills.
  • Mental concentration is required to perform concurrent tasks and meet deadlines while tolerating frequent interruptions.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to provide quality customer service.
  • Excellent analysis, observation and decision-making skills.
  • Must be available to work Monday through Saturday and/or as needed to meet proposal deadlines.
  • Must be able to be physically present in the Bank to perform job duties.

Responsibilities

  • Provides excellent client service and support for the bank’s public fund relationships
  • Opens, closes and maintains accounts such as checking, savings and certificate of deposit accounts
  • Coordinates with Treasury Management, deposit operations and banking center staff to ensure timely processing of all requests
  • Assists with preparation of bid proposals
  • Monitors daily collateral position and pledges/releases collateral as needed
  • Manages and adheres to bank’s public fund depository contracts
  • Prepares audit confirmation responses
  • Monitors and maintains accounts for BSA/OFAC/USA Patriot Act/CIP/AML compliance
  • Complies with all federal and state laws and regulations and all established Bank policies and procedures
  • Facilitates the preparation of FHLB Letters of Credit with accounting department
  • Provide secondary support for credit card services
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Prepares and/or updates depository agreements as needed.
  • Manages Deposit Rate Index rates.
  • End of month reporting- Email distribution
  • Correction of errors
  • Periodically maintenance upkeep PF signers / contracts.
  • Assist with business online banking forms (New Request) (Update to Existing User)
  • Able to travel as needed

  • Handle requests such as: Exception Wires, Supply Orders, Account Transfers
  • Support the Lending Team in managing existing loan relationships and new loan opportunities.
  • Perform administrative tasks that can include but are not limited to: pulling credit reports, collecting financial information, preparing loan related document and packages, ensuring accuracy and completeness of loan packages, gathering information on existing loan relationships and booking/closing loans.
  • Perform customer service duties that may include identifying, researching and resolving customers’ questions and issues regarding deposits, fund transfers, loan advances, loan pay downs, payoffs, etc.
  • Identify and order documentation required to process loan requests.
  • Track and ensure receipt of appropriate documents and reports.
  • Prepare and maintain loan transaction files and assist in maintaining customer credit files.
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of credit and transaction files.
  • Coordinate account maintenance with the Loan Servicing department.
  • Manage compliance reporting and maintain customer and prospect database.
  • Assist loan officers in addressing customer inquiries and servicing requests.
  • Perform additional duties as requested or assigned.
