About The Position
This role is within the Fixed Income Division, specifically focusing on the Public Finance Business. The Public Finance Business finances essential infrastructure like schools, hospitals, bridges, and transit systems. The role requires a blend of quantitative analysis, software engineering, and product development skills to create and deploy production applications. The individual will be responsible for taking ideas from concept to implementation, working with a fast-paced market characterized by daily shifts in issuance calendars, real-time yield repricing, and split-second trading decisions. The role emphasizes building models, developing real-time dashboards, automating workflows, and integrating AI for tasks such as document analysis and anomaly detection. The technology stack includes Python, Flask, React, kdb+/q, Docker, OpenAI, and Anthropic Claude, with a strong focus on integrating AI into all aspects of the work.
Requirements
- Master's or PhD in a quantitative field, or a strong undergraduate background with demonstrated hands-on experience.
- Strong Python skills, writing clean, testable, production-ready code.
- CI/CD fluency: Git, Docker, structured development workflow.
- Solid statistics and probability fundamentals.
- Experience using GenAI coding tools (Copilot, Cursor, etc.).
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
