Develop, implement, and update Medicaid policies, procedures, and program guidance. Analyze legislation and regulatory changes and draft solutions to support program goals. Provide leadership and direction on complex Medicaid eligibility, policy, and program issues. Collaborate with federal agencies, state partners, and stakeholders to improve program effectiveness and ensure quality service delivery

Requirements

  • Any combination of education and/or experience that provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities in Federal and state laws, regulations, and policies governing the administration of public assistance programs; Budgetary and fiscal practices related to public assistance programs; and Public relations, personnel administration, and office practices, methods and procedures equivalent to those typically gained by: Professional experience in the administration of public assistance programs; interpretation of public assistance eligibility requirements or regulations; or administration, management, or supervision of an automated medical payment system, such as may be gained in a hospital, large medical clinic, or medical insurance company.
  • One-page technical writing sample that shows your ability to draft policy.
  • Three (3) professional references, whom we may contact by phone, are required. One (1) of these references must be your current or most recent supervisor, if not already provided in the application.
