Hilton Ocala is one of four Meyer Jabara properties in Florida. Our beautiful 196-room hotel features six spacious event rooms and a tented outdoor event space, making us a premier destination for weddings, meetings, and special events. We are currently seeking Full-Time Public Area Attendants to join our team. AM and PM shifts are available. The Public Area Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall presentation of all public spaces throughout the hotel. This role plays a vital part in ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests while upholding brand and company standards.

  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain all public areas including lobby, hallways, elevators, and common spaces
  • Vacuum carpets, mop floors, and dust furnitxtures
  • Clean and restock public and employee restrooms throughout the shift
  • Maintain cleanliness of glass doors, windows, and exterior areas
  • Keep outdoor spaces and entrances free of debris and trash
  • Clean elevators and ensure tracks and doors are well maintained
  • Monitor and maintain pool and fitness center areas, including replenishing towels and sanitizing surfaces
  • Report any safety hazards or maintenance concerns promptly
  • Maintain a professional appearance and interact courteously with guests
  • Support housekeeping and other departments as needed
