About The Position

The Public Area Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall presentation of all public spaces throughout the hotel. This role plays a vital part in ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests while upholding brand and company standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently
  • Good communication and guest service skills
  • Ability to follow directions and prioritize tasks
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain all public areas including lobby, hallways, elevators, and common spaces
  • Vacuum carpets, mop floors, and dust furnitxtures
  • Clean and restock public and employee restrooms throughout the shift
  • Maintain cleanliness of glass doors, windows, and exterior areas
  • Keep outdoor spaces and entrances free of debris and trash
  • Clean elevators and ensure tracks and doors are well maintained
  • Monitor and maintain pool and fitness center areas, including replenishing towels and sanitizing surfaces
  • Report any safety hazards or maintenance concerns promptly
  • Maintain a professional appearance and interact courteously with guests
  • Support housekeeping and other departments as needed
