About The Position

The Public Area & Pool Area Attendant maintains the cleanliness, appearance, and overall condition of the hotel’s indoor and outdoor public spaces. The role ensures guest-facing areas—including the lobby, restrooms, corridors, meeting spaces, pool areas, patios, and recreational facilities—are clean, organized, well-stocked, and maintained to high standards, helping create a welcoming, safe, and exceptional guest experience. The posting describes a mid-day through evening shift and invites applicants interested in either full-time or part-time work.

Requirements

Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and presentation standards.

Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks.
Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
Ability to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb stairs.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions, including heat and sun exposure.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain indoor public areas, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, public restrooms, fitness centers, meeting spaces, and guest common areas.
Clean and maintain outdoor public areas, including pool decks, patios, walkways, courtyards, recreation areas, and hotel grounds.
Set up, arrange, clean, and inspect pool furniture, cabanas, umbrellas, tables, and guest seating areas.
Replenish pool towels, restroom supplies, and guest amenities throughout the shift.
Remove trash, debris, leaves, and other waste from indoor and outdoor public spaces.
Clean and sanitize high-touch surfaces, furniture, fixtures, windows, doors, and public restrooms according to hotel cleanliness standards.
Conduct routine inspections of public areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper presentation.
Promptly report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, damaged equipment, or repair needs.
Assist with opening and closing procedures for pool and recreational areas.
Support hotel events and functions by assisting with room setups and maintaining public spaces during events.
Respond to guest requests in a friendly, professional, and timely manner.
Follow company safety, sanitation, and service standards.
Work collaboratively with Housekeeping, Engineering, and Operations teams to keep public areas guest-ready.
