About The Position

Maintain the cleanliness of public areas in accordance with established guest service and sustainability standards. The role includes cleaning public spaces and restrooms, responding to guest room requests, and keeping surfaces, furniture, floors, elevators, and waste receptacles clean and orderly. The attendant also cleans employee areas and follows chemical-safety, bloodborne-pathogen, workplace-safety, and sustainability procedures. The work schedule varies and may include holidays and weekends.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Clean hard and textile surfaces and restrooms in public spaces, and respond to guest room requests.
Keep internal windows and doorways free of fingerprints and smudges.
Keep public-area furniture and hard surfaces clean and organized.
Keep floors free of debris and clean carpet spots.
Clean elevator surfaces and remove debris.
Empty public-area waste receptacles.
Clean the employee break room and employee restroom.
Use chemicals according to directions and become familiar with Material Safety Data Sheets.
Follow procedures for protection against bloodborne pathogens.
Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program.
Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment, and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
Perform other duties as requested by management.
