About The Position

The Public Area Attendant maintains the cleanliness, appearance, and overall condition of public spaces throughout the resort. The role provides a welcoming and sanitary environment for guests and team members by cleaning and servicing restrooms, lobbies, hallways, offices, and other common spaces. The attendant is expected to be detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction, as well as to the company’s values of integrity, passion, and a strong work ethic.

Requirements

• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to quality service.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and work in outdoor weather conditions.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Must successfully complete a background check and drug screening.
• Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• Must comply with Westgate Resorts’ Smoke and Tobacco-Free workplace policy; applicants who smoke or use tobacco products will not be considered, except where prohibited by law.

Responsibilities

• Dust, disinfect, and clean bathrooms.
• Restock toilet paper, paper towels, and supplies in the stock closet.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Clean and maintain glass and mirror areas.
• Clean ashtrays and remove trash from public areas.
• Dust public areas.
• Clean and maintain offices in lobby and sales areas.
• Report engineering problems promptly to a supervisor or centralized department.
• Place trash in designated areas for pickup.
• Vacuum areas with rugs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
