About The Position

This role is primarily responsible for maintaining clean and attractive hotel public areas, including the lobby, restaurants, guest corridors, and office spaces, while providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service. The attendant will thoroughly clean guestrooms, corridors, and restrooms according to hotel standards. Responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining restaurants, hotel lobby, reception areas, offices, and back-of-house areas. This involves vacuuming, dusting, polishing furniture and fixtures, and emptying ashtrays to ensure a spotless environment. The role also includes completing pre-cleaning duties, removing trash from all bins, and keeping hallways, public areas, and closets clean and neat. Daily tasks will be allocated across all areas of the hotel (front and back of house). The attendant must ensure equipment and facilities are functioning properly, reporting any malfunctions, and keeping equipment clean and in good working order. Following proper Lost & Found procedures and reporting maintenance issues to the supervisor/manager immediately are also key responsibilities. Deep cleaning of specific areas such as restaurants, lobby, reception, toilets, lifts, staff facilities, and corridors is required, along with maintaining a time schedule for cleaning and performing spring cleaning as per the schedule. The role also involves performing any other reasonable duties as requested by the leadership team. Consistently conducting oneself professionally, working collaboratively with colleagues and team leaders with a team-minded approach, and attending pre-shift and all required meetings are essential. Anticipating and understanding guest needs, ensuring satisfaction, and responding urgently and appropriately to concerns and requests are critical. Greeting, welcoming, and acknowledging guests by name, responding courteously and professionally, and remaining attentive to guest needs with dependable, punctual, and enthusiastic service are expected. Providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service, thanking guests with genuine appreciation, and identifying opportunities to optimize performance and create value by challenging processes, encouraging innovation, and driving change are also part of the role. Being a clear thinker, analyzing and resolving problems, exercising good judgment, and ensuring resolutions are thoughtful and guest-focused, with immediate follow-up with a leader, are required. Establishing and maintaining open, positive, collaborative, and professional relationships, developing lasting relationships with guests to secure repeat business, and fostering a cooperative working environment to maximize efficiency and deliver the ultimate guest experience are important. Adhering to all company and safety/security policies and procedures, reporting maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries, completing safety training and certifications, and properly storing flammable materials are mandatory. Ensuring compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and standards, maintaining a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, and maintaining the confidentiality of proprietary and guest information are also required. Responsibilities

  • Maintain clean and attractive hotel lobby, restaurants, guest corridors, and office areas.
  • Provide efficient and courteous service to guests.
  • Thoroughly clean guestrooms, corridors, and restrooms according to standards.
  • Clean and maintain restaurants, hotel lobby, reception areas, offices, and back of house areas.
  • Vacuum clean and dust hotel lobby, reception, restaurants, polish furniture and fixtures, and empty ashtrays.
  • Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including guest supplies and cleaning supplies.
  • Remove all trash from bins situated in public areas, including back of house areas.
  • Keep all hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed.
  • Perform daily allocated tasks in all areas of the hotel (front of house and back of house).
  • Ensure equipment and facilities are functioning properly and report any malfunction.
  • Keep equipment clean and in good working order.
  • Follow proper Lost & Found procedures.
  • Report any maintenance issues to Housekeeping supervisor/Manager immediately.
  • Perform deep cleaning of restaurants, hotel lobby, reception area, toilets, guest lifts, staff toilets, and locker rooms, guest corridors.
  • Maintain a time schedule for cleaning of their areas.
  • Perform spring cleaning of their area as per the schedule.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as requested by the leadership team.
