About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a service-oriented Public Area Attendant for Angad Arts Hotel. The role is responsible for keeping hotel public spaces clean, neat, orderly, and welcoming for guests, including restrooms, the lobby, elevators, stairways, hallways, and the Front Desk area. The attendant also communicates with colleagues by two-way radio, delivers requested items to guest rooms, and assists with guest-room cleaning as needed. The position requires at least a high school education and one year of housekeeping experience.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain hotel public areas, including restrooms, hallways, and stairwells, to meet quality standards.
Clean bathrooms; dust furniture and pictures; vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
Empty carts of soiled linen and dispose of trash.
Use a two-way radio to communicate efficiently and ensure tasks are prioritized.
Keep the lobby, elevators, stairways, hallways, and Front Desk area clean, neat, and free of rubbish and debris.
Check public restrooms once an hour and maintain them in a neat and orderly condition.
Remove spots, insects, and debris; polish fixtures; and clean ashtrays.
Deliver items to guest rooms upon request and assist with cleaning guest rooms as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
