Why This Role Matters We are looking for a Public Area Attendant who plays a critical role in shaping every guest’s first and lasting impression by ensuring all public spaces are clean, safe and beautifully maintained at all times.

Requirements

  • Housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to stand, stoop, bend for extended periods and lift up to 30+ pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Work under the direction of the Housekeeping Manager and Housekeeping Supervisor.
  • Communicate daily with leadership regarding job assignments and required timeframes.
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with team members and guests.
  • Clean and supply all designated public interfacing areas including sterilizing, polishing, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping and cleaning ceiling vents.
  • Inspect, clean and restock all public restrooms including poolside facilities frequently throughout each shift.
  • Inspect, clean and restock employee restrooms a minimum of two times daily.
  • Remove trash and vacuum carpets in internal office spaces.
  • Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities.
  • Maintain corridors and public spaces in a clean, neat and clutter free condition.
  • Identify and report any loss or damage of linen, furniture, fixtures or equipment.
  • Learn and maintain knowledge of all chemicals used and their proper application.
  • Stock and maintain housekeeping supply rooms.
  • Maintain a neat and organized appearance of work carts and cleaning equipment.
  • Carry out deep cleaning tasks and special projects as assigned.
  • Resolve guest concerns and respond to requests in a professional and timely manner.
  • Follow all company safety, sanitation and health regulations at all times.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and professional appearance in compliance with uniform and grooming standards.
  • Protect company assets and maintain confidentiality of proprietary, client and guest information.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
