About The Position

STAR Physical Therapy is seeking a PT Technician to assist therapists with treatments under direct supervision. This role involves maintaining the clinic environment, including cleaning and organizing equipment and treatment areas, and performing routine maintenance on machines. The PT Technician will also set up patients for treatments, assist with exercises as directed by the Physical Therapist, and support administrative tasks such as filing, answering phones, and scheduling. Additionally, the role includes ordering supplies, assisting with inventory management, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. The goal is to contribute to a positive clinic environment and support overall team efforts.

Requirements

High school diploma required.
Ability to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environment.
Basic PC skills and knowledge, including but not limited to Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, database software, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Assist therapists with treatments under direct supervision.
Clean and maintain equipment, treatment areas, and linen supply.
Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning hot pack machines and disinfecting treatment tables.
Set up patients for treatments and assist with exercises as directed by the Physical Therapist.
Help with administrative tasks such as filing, answering phones, and scheduling patients.
Order supplies and assist with inventory management under the direction of the Clinic Director.
Maintain safety protocols, including equipment checks and fire safety procedures.
Contribute to a positive clinic environment and support overall team efforts.
