About The Position
Desert Hand and Physical Therapy is hiring a patient-focused PT Technician/Aide for its Phoenix Arcadia location. The role supports licensed therapists and patients during therapy sessions, helps maintain treatment areas and equipment, and performs administrative duties. The company is willing to teach and train people interested in medical or rehabilitation fields. The position also involves driving between clinics for coverage and meetings. Requirements

Responsibilities
- Provide kind and compassionate service to patients and employees.
- Follow company policies and procedures, government regulations, safety practices, and infection-control protocols.
- Comply with HIPAA requirements.
- Assist patients with exercises under the supervision of a licensed therapist.
- Set up, maintain, and clean treatment areas before and after therapy sessions.
- Prepare therapy equipment and assist with applying modalities in accordance with OT/PT state practice guidelines.
- Escort patients to and from therapy areas as needed while observing patient-safety concerns.
- Monitor patient responses during therapy sessions and report them to the treating therapist.
- Maintain therapy-supply inventory and report low stock levels.
- Perform administrative duties, including data entry, answering phones, scheduling, and patient check-in and check-out.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Manager.
- Drive between clinics for coverage and meetings.
