About The Position

As part of Ford's Quality team, this individual-contributor role works within the Powertrain Engineering organization as a hands-on quality engineer. The engineer works closely with Product Development, Manufacturing, and Service teams to help ensure V6 and V8 engine and exhaust systems are robustly designed. The role checks the data and evidence supporting engineering sign-offs, analyzes failures, and helps teams close quality gaps. It uses Ford's Global Product Development System and Quality Operating System to support successful New Model Launches and contributes to reliability targets and quality standards for future programs. The position is hybrid and requires onsite work four or more days per week. Ford describes the opportunity as part of its broader work to drive continuous improvement and deliver quality Ford and Lincoln products and services.
