About The Position

The PT Environment Team Member maintains the store’s appearance, cleanliness, and recovery standards while helping deliver friendly customer service and the company’s Brand Promises. The role includes cleaning assigned areas, deep-cleaning high-traffic spaces, handling cleaning supplies and equipment, and taking initiative to identify cleaning needs. Team members also maintain positive, respectful interactions with customers and colleagues and may perform other store duties as assigned, including checkout, rewards and credit-card enrollment, online order fulfillment, stocking, and safety and shrink prevention.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Must satisfy applicable federal, state, and local legal requirements.
• Ability to remain standing for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Ability to bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch regularly, including lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect and dispose of trash according to approved procedures.
• Dust and damp mop floors according to approved procedures.
• Move equipment and products to clean properly and return products to their correct placement.
• Clean assigned areas using provided materials and equipment; prepare cleaning solutions when required.
• Deep-clean bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways, and other high-traffic areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Keep cleaning equipment neat and orderly and notify the supervisor in advance when supplies need replenishment.
• Identify areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete the work.
• Complete tasks assigned by the supervisor and follow applicable federal, state, and county guidelines.
• Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers and serve as a positive role model.
• As assigned, provide a fast, friendly checkout experience and follow cash-handling standards.
• As assigned, explain Rewards and Private Label Credit Card benefits and complete enrollments.
• As assigned, assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship from Store processes.
• As assigned, participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Support shrink and safety programs and follow standard operating procedures, company programs, policies, and standards.
