About The Position

Saskatoon Co-op is seeking a PT Clerk Cashier for Food Store #119 in Watrous, SK. This position reports to the Food Store Manager and is responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized front-end, operating the till efficiently, and assisting with stock duties. The role requires a positive attitude, dependability, and a good understanding of merchandise. Requirements

Must possess adequate knowledge of all lines of merchandise handled by the Food Department.
Must be strongly service oriented and motivated, and capable of assisting customers in a courteous and efficient manner.
Applicant must be able to work mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

Have a good working understanding of the till operation.
Engage in and supervise packing of customer purchases at the checkout counter.
Be familiar with and adhere to all Saskatoon Co‑op Policies and Procedures.
Assist in general stock duties, including filling shelves and bins in the checkout area, when not cashing.
Achieve a checkout speed of 14 items per minute.
Responsible for achieving accurate cash balances.
Assist in supervision as required.
Other duties as assigned.
