About The Position

Carolina Therapy Connection (CTC) is a therapist-owned, private pediatric outpatient practice with multiple clinic locations. We specialize in providing Occupational Therapy (OT), Physical Therapy (PT), Speech Therapy (ST), mental wellness/counseling, and educational services to children and adults. Our clients have a range of diagnoses including autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing disorder, cerebral palsy, feeding disorders, and developmental/language delays. Services are delivered in our state-of-the-art sensory clinics, within the community, and in school settings. Requirements

  • Associate's Degree from an accredited program for Physical Therapy Assistant.
  • Current Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of North Carolina (or eligibility to obtain one).
  • Experience or interest in pediatric therapy, including working with conditions such as autism, sensory processing disorder, and developmental delays.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with children, families, and a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional care in a faith-based, child-friendly environment.
  • Ability to kneel, crouch, or sit on and get up from the floor.
  • Capability to lift and carry children or therapy equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Efficient mobility, including the ability to walk, run, and move independently.
  • Stamina to maintain active engagement in a high-energy, child-focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide physical therapy services to children and adults.
  • Work closely with children, including kneeling, crouching, and sitting on the floor.
  • Lift and carry children or therapy equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Maintain efficient mobility, including walking and running, for therapeutic activities.
  • Engage actively in a high-energy, child-focused environment throughout the workday.
  • Document effectively and efficiently using electronic systems.
  • Participate in company events, team-building activities, and ongoing professional development.
  • Create personalized treatment plans and build relationships with children and families.
